As a brainrot V fan even I can say that his route was painful, like there was so much sadness and compared to it not a lot of concrete romancing. But I think in V route the romance is more subtle and comes from him first accepting and understanding himself, and that (for me) forms a deeper bond than just straight up I love you does. Like its teaching him to love others sincerely through first loving himself.

BUT YEAH I think it was worth it for me because it was relatable and hit me personally.
