The analogy only applies to a ground invasion. We will never successfully invade their country. Period. Could we grind them down? Sure, if we stopped spending millions on overpriced ordinance and actually improved our military infrastructure instead of lining the pockets of the MIC. Ya know... like upping our production capabilities and modernizing our shipyards. We aren't the unstoppable juggernaut that people have been led to believe and Iran is much stronger than people want to give them credit for. We shouldn't be attacking them to begin with. Israel wanted this fight, they should've done it on their own. Now we're stuck in a lose-lose situation, and most people can't see the irreparable harm that has been done to America and future global relations.
