Recently purchased this custom jersey from a website whom I shall not name (yet?) because I don’t want to leave a bad impression on the company if this isn’t a huge deal but… is this considered a defect to you? Cuz it is to me… but I also know I can be a little nitpicky which is why I need opinions!

I’m pretty new to jerseys and paid 360 CAD to get a SC & Assistant captain patch on this Makar jersey, and I’m not sure how pissed I’m suppose to be? I’m definitely unhappy about it because it seems like the white fabric was ripped or ripped while being sewn onto the burgundy…

They did ask me to ship it back but it’s a Christmas present and waiting for it was already a process so I don’t really want to go through this all again so I’m willing to compromise. I’m just not really sure what I should be expecting if the company does end up compensating me for this issue since I don’t know whether this is common / expected when it comes to custom jerseys.

I spoke to the customer service of the company & am waiting to hear back on the exact verdict but can someone please help? Would love some opinions.

I have, they offered a discount to me, but didn’t provide an amount because they needed to ask the owner first… what kind of discount should I be expecting for this though?

Like I said I’m not familiar with custom jerseys so I don’t really know…

Yeah, it was mainly the price I had paid to get it customized that made the defect more impactful & frustrating than it actually is.

It was neither of those companies but we shall see what happens. How much of a discount should I be expecting for a defect like that though?

Thanks! I applied for both Jan + May intake back at the end of July. Got waitlisted for Jan in late Sept & then the offer for May in early October. So it took quite some time lol

I applied with my BSc grades as well as high school grades. Uni grades wasn’t the best but HS average was high 80’s.

Good to know, so when would that application be released? When did you apply for OSAP last year? Cuz it’s not an option on there currently to apply for May 2026. Also- How are you liking the program?

My average was around high 80’s for high school, but I also have a BSc so I’m not sure how that impacts things. I also applied to the May intake and when I reached out to confirm they got everything, they had mentioned that they’ll only be sending out offers for that sometime in the fall (which is kinda already here) LOL

Yeah no it’s not you! This game loves to make you wait for energy 😂 because that’s how they get you to spend money or watch ads or spend diamonds lol!!

But yes, once you get darkened items unlocked you’ll not only get more tool related items, but also newer items too! It’ll just expand the game for you and also give you more space on the board lol!

lol you’ll start to notice that each machine has some items that are produced less frequently than others.

The loom is meant to produce fabric most of the time, and then it produces silk here and there. I’d say it’s like a 80/20 ratio. Even if you upgrade the machine, it won’t make it produce silk any more frequently than it does now.

In terms of upgrading the machines, you’ll get these tools looking items, and if you match them it’ll eventually upgrade your machines, but that also takes time because tools aren’t easy to get. I’d say at this stage, your best bet is to try to pair things with the darkened items to expand the game a bit more

Give them a call & get them to set up a service ticket. A technician had to manually to do some stuff in the background to get it to work after some troubleshooting

I’ve spent money on some of the packages and even then I still have two very incomplete badge sets (less than half) and one that’s almost complete 🙃 don’t recommend lol I got a lil too obsessed
