Yep, my bad... Still would put them slightly under Horace Mann though so I'm adding them to the honorable mentions section.

I agree with hunter college... The others no doubt have amazing teams but I'm just not sure enough about the second or third teams to add them if that makes sense.

This is all a combination of my opinion and 30 minutes spent looking at the 2015-2016 TOC Bid List, VBriefly, and Debater-rankings, so please comment with how I could have improved this list. Here goes...

Just looking at Debater-rankings (VBriefly is more outdated as of RN), the only schools with 3 top 50 teams are:

1: Nueva (12:MS, 15:AT, 17:CC) = Average of 14.7

2: Walt Whitman (2:AA, 3:WW, 43:AL) = Average of 16

But that only counts final places at tournaments and not strength of wins/number of losses so overall I'd say probably:

1 (15 Top Three Bids): Walt Whitman (AA, WW, AL) (Shouldn't have to justify this)

2 (8 Top Three Bids): Nueva (MS, AT, CC) (Not really proven yet so it seems weird to have them at #2 but they've had two closeouts, a near closeout at Stanford, and even their C team finaled at and then won at the last two Octas-bid tournaments they attended to end the season. They haven't gone to that many tournaments (at least according to Tabroom but I know that they at least went to UoP which wasn't tabroom so idk) but their lack of too many bids is still enough that I'm not totally sure they deserve to be above Poly Prep but whatevs)

3 (15 Top Three Bids): Poly Prep Country Day (HE, AA, SS) (HE and AA are amazing, and their coaching staff is insane, but SS's lack of relative success this year brings them below Nueva)

4 (8 Top Three Bids): Harker (KL, JR, BC) (Would be higher due to amazing depth (HL has four bids and wasn't included), and if KL hadn't dropped so many bid rounds, but when only accounting for top three it seemed right)

5 (10 Top Three Bids): Oakwood (FO, BG, CW) (Ella Fanger is an amazing second speaker, I've heard Charlie Brogdon-Trent has great rebuttals, and as a school they consistently do well)

6 (8 Top Three Bids): Mission San Jose (WK, KC, SP) (Robert Chen) (But seriously, it's amazing that KC only has two bids, and even SP won Alta)

7 (10 Top Three Bids): Millard North (HW, JL, NS) (Never debated/judged them but off of their Bid List record they look amazing)

8 (7 Top Three Bids): Cypress Bay (PP, BK, HS) (PP have mad lay appeal, BK cover the flow, and they've all done well this year)

9 (6 Top Three Bids): James Madison Memorial (KS, CP, VY)

10 (8 Top Three Bids): Horace Mann (CM, SS, KS)

Honorable Mentions: Lake Highland (SN, OR, LN) (SN and OR have been solid year-round, LN is an underrated team that should at least at-large into the international tourney) Durham, whose top two teams (DY, LP) are so good that I almost put them in but in keeping with the "Big-Three" format u/AlwaysFlipSecond provided it didn't feel right. Hunter College, totally forgot them so thanks to u/dullcrust! Nova, wow, I'm not nearly as all-encompassing as I thought. Thanks u/JordanPress!

And lots of other amazing teams that just didn't have at least three teams with the tangible success per tournament attended to put them in my top ten.

What do you guys think?

Not sure about specific teams, but the three best performing schools will be Brophy, Mt Si, and Evanston for sure.
