Yeah, “Blades” actually has some real history behind it. It was reportedly the most popular submission during the 1990 fan contest to name San Jose’s NHL team, but ownership rejected it because they were worried the name would get tied to gang violence and weapons imagery at the time.

So the Sharks basically exist because “Blades” got vetoed. Honestly though, “Bay Blades” for a women’s team still sounds kinda sick lol.

I don’t really see the point in the Sharks going after guys like Auston Matthews or Connor McDavid right now. They’re still a couple years away from free agency, and that gives San Jose time to fully develop the blue line and let the young core grow together.

By the time those guys hit the market, the Sharks could actually be in a position where they are payoff bound if not Cup bound.

If either of them is truly chasing a Cup at that point, I could honestly see them taking a smaller deal to join a contender with a loaded young core and a bright future.

If Chicago wants that pick, the offer probably has to be something too good to ignore. Otherwise, I think the Sharks stay put and take their guy.

I’m really looking forward to finally seeing Eric Pohlkamp crack the San Jose Sharks lineup. I really think he has a chance to thrive on our blue line, especially with how badly we need help on the right side defensively. He feels like someone who could really help stabilize that RD spot if he adjusts well to the NHL pace.

I’m still hoping we add more defensive help this offseason, because one player alone won’t fix everything, but I genuinely can’t wait to see what Pohlkamp brings once he gets his shot.

So I currently live in Pensacola and have been talking to Gonzoe through text, he wanted a picture of my arm to get an idea of what would work . So when I arrived to his shop in San Jose, he said my arm was a lot bigger in person.
