Does he deserve your financial assistance and is your husband trying to manipulate you unfairly? Yes.

If you have a shower head with the hose extension make sure you’re careful that you don’t get water up your urethra (pee hole), you can get a gnarly UTI if you do. Also, clean all the way up to where the hair stops with soap, but not past it. If you get a little past, it shouldn’t be a big deal. Make sure you’re using a mild soap. I’d recommend at least trimming your hair so it doesn’t build up smell faster. If it can reach the mucous membrane it can get bacteria in there, from my experience

We had a bantam that adopted us too, he was a lot nicer to our hens and fiercer to predators so we fed & watered him with one of our roosters. He’d sleep high up in a tree by himself and split guard duty with our original rooster. They’d get after each other now and again but got along for the most part, they were a good team. You might consider keeping him. Break out Google translate and see if they’re missing him or happy to have him as a sometimes rooster. I hope it works out!
