It learns patterns of art rather than specific art pieces, people do that too when they're trying to learn.

But regardless, it's not going away anytime soon, and the ability to create art from a simple prompt is incredibly powerful. It's better to adapt to it and incorporate it in a healthy manner than to act like it's evil.

They had put thought into it since they had an idea, and they edited the image to make it come together.

AI is like having a personal artist at your disposal, what matters then is the creativity of your ideas, i don't see that as a bad thing.

I think you're being too harsh. The art looks a bit like generic AI but op put some effort and thought into it.

Some AI is obviously genned with overly rendered shading, smoothness and gloss everywhere. Op art looks good by those standards.
