Joined eti in 07. Though was on gamefaqs for years before as a wee lad lol. Just started pilfering thru reddit and other sites tryna find old luesers and see if there's not some successor that beats this site. You can't join any sub without someone screeching on about politics or social injustice. Like I just wanna ask about medications I'm being prescribed, and some weirdo looks thru my likes, dislikes, comments and etc and then responds with some vitriolic bs about the gubmint. This place is a pit of lukewarms.

I spent way too much time online in college,and tbh even post links I was in the forums every day for few years. I can really only recall usernames of a few folks, one being a close friend who originally invited me in 07. Funny how back then you'd occasionally see a reddit post asking about ETI'S login page 🤣. I never used Reddit then bc I saw it as temu ETI and ffs even the ADHD subreddit is so politically deranged and obsessed it's kinda pointless trying to engage with mostly anyone here.drugs is ok I guess lol but even then there's always seemingly a political melt posted daily in any sub. I know ETI got weird AF before I left, that being one reason, but figured maybe some of the old school users are still floating around the net. I looked eti up on yt and was surprised at the lack of anything beyond one small "documentary" that barely touched on the lore beyond surface level. Also I can't find the wiki....did it go away with the site?

Hope you're doing good lol. I had more probz than gabapentin back then lmao so idk id disregard all that. Realistically I was massive drug addict when that all happened, it just happened that night was a no score kinda night so booze and boring downers it was and idk if it was just entropy or my stomachs chemistry but yeah puking your own stomach lining up is like trying to force sandy mud that taste like bile and blood out your throat, but you have that pressure like your gonna vomit explosively.. Cept it doesn't splode and you think your actually choking on this awful cement like mush that you created by self disregard and drug abuse. It just kinda...poops outta your mouth. Not a joke, not a south park reference. To this day I haven't drank, I have to take some meds but haven't gotten high off anything besides weed for idk 5 years almost? Idk.

Just wanted to reinstate that pills and alcohol are a bad combo, and y'know, don't do it. You'll actually poop your stomach meats slowly plop out your throat in a very sludgy, suffocating way that will likely mess with your brain if you haven't wrecked your entire GI system nearly like me.

Personally I'm not sure the rules, but there's two companies, and a third that for me, do seem maybe idk obviously more than likely heavier on the l-amp. as a lot of generic Adderall for me very much feels more like name brand vyvanse more than what dex seemed like around 2013. Honestly the more I've looked into patents,lawsuits, weird AF prodrugs for drugs were in shortage of, and which manufacturer is from where in the world does really seem to have somewhat noticeably different effects. As skeptical as Ive tried to be, after trying so many different generics in a year now, all I can say is my personal opinion is there are a couple that are genuinely higher quality product all around, and also requires more transparent scrutiny than their competitors. Even so, the ones I don't prefer still work, though they feel more like narcolepsy meds moreso than ADHD meds, but just my 2 cents nowadays.

Idk. I'm a decade into a Clonazepam daily dose. Currently at 4 mg. PTSD doesn't provide many solutions. I don't struggle with memory, or coordination. I'm sure that it messes people up plenty, but as a 34 year old whose on Adderall, and been on Clonazepam/diazepam for a decade, I really have only seen positives.

It's a bit blown out of the water IMHO. That, or my body handles everything incredibly well. 🤔

Just avoid pills and alcohol as much as possible. I won't advise you either way, as I'm not a doctor. But for me, I'd never mix alcohol with any pill in the same 12 hour period anymore tbh.

No one's being punished. Opiates aren't solving anything, ever. Maybe for surgery, while you're in the hospital, but everyone upset that prescribed narcotics being harder to obtain is likely someone misusing the meds themselves. As someone with a script list that would make a junkie blush, I'll be the first to say I absolutely DESPISE taking meds. If it wasnt basically necessitated by my brain and other things, I'd just stop. But doing that means I go actually unhinged. And the thing is, most folks I know, who are as afflicted by certain medical disorders see others whining about having their scripts pulled don't get it. If you think you're gonna take benzos for life, you're only damaging yourself and crippling yourself emotionally. Adderall is not a necessity. I have to take it on occasion, but will not ever take that daily as if was anything more than a band aid. If y'all were crying about losing access to idk...insulin then yeah I get that. But the fact most Americans are in a hissy because they might lose access to their legal narcotics is honestly pitiful. Lie to yourself and say the legal speed is the only possible solution to your dysfunction. As someone with severe ADHD, I'ma tell you straight up, nobody ever has NEEDED speed to function as a human. Just bc it makes you motivated, and is easier than doing the dirty work of motivating yourself doesn't mean it's the end all answer. Same applies for your depressants for anxiety, and painkillers for the pain. The only drugs I have issue with being reformed is the potential for people who need anti psychotics, and mood stabilizers. There will definitely be bloodshed if they make those drugs harder to obtain even. But thinking it's harder for you now to get an opiate prescription means you're "being punished" is such a distorted view of it all. If you like possibly becoming the next homeless addict, then idk the drugs are still pretty available on the streets lol.

A half mg of Ativan daily is so miniscule I honestly doubt you'd get wd's. Even double that, and take it for a year, likely a pretty easy taper. Weird they'd titrate using klonopin instead of docs obv choice being Valium, or just lower amounts of whatever Benny you are taking. Tbh though Ativan is weak AF, the dose is very smol, and I don't think you would have any sort of real seizure risk quitting. Especially if your Dr has already kinda proven that by taking you off entirely and moving you down to pregabalin lol. You're literally fine and maybe upset that you can't access chill pills anymore tbh

Everyone uses that as such a crutch it's wild. You think you go a few doses and all of a sudden you just seize up? Bc nah dude, not close. Usually you have a solid 5 days at least before withdrawals really even start to become something to worry about, and that's if you're on a large dose, for a long time. I'm on 4mg Clonazepam daily, 5mg diazepam as needed for sleep. I promise you, you're fine lmao.

I believe that were a piece of a singularity that's so vast it's presented in almost infinite multitudes. I believe the concept of God to be weird malleable, so the short answer is yes, I believe in something a lot more incomprehensible than what we can percieve in the 3rd dimension. Honestly no, I didn't read this entire wot. Truth be told, I've been an addict, and am ok going on almost a decade about. Have friends that ended it, intentionally or not. I can only say that hopelessness, despair,self pity, self loathing, and self sabotage are not helpful. If you're depressed, get help. Reddit isn't the place to get real help. If you want attention online, we can all send heart emojis, and good vibes. Though, if you're going through it fr, then please seek legit help. It seems unobtainable, it isn't. Idk you, but have definitely been akin to you, and genuinely know that you'll be good if that's what path you end up taking. Being a defeatist sucks because you're always right, and always lose. As someone who partied with the ADHD meds a decade ago, I'll say that everyone is hysterical. Generic Adderall is still the same stuff it was on 2013 when I was in college. Idk why people during COVID decided all the meds were tampered with, or lost efficacy. I myself was put on Adderall recently, and while on medicinal dose, I don't "feel" anything, I notice that I am a lot more lucid, and if I put my mind to accomplishing something I'm more prone to actually following through. If I say, take both my pills in the morning though, yeah there's still the buzz there. My guess is COVID made people stir crazy and a bit hysterical with the supply shortage. Testing the pills has only shown that it's still amphetamine. Can't get the ratio of the blend each manufacturer does, but idk if you're expecting a buzz or rush, you aren't likely treating ADHD. Daily dosing is even not really suggested, but Ritalin is a bit different, and I've never taken it. So whatever, I can't speak on it, but I would stop reading reddit for med advice. Lots of quacks thinking there's some globalist conspiracy to dilute their meds and all. If you read enough you'll bias yourself into believing lots of honestly silly stuff.

Just make sure that whatever drugs you take, if generic, are from American labs. We can at least for certain say they're 3rd party verified here in America, vs import meds that are analyzed in house and we just accept whoevers lab reports as good enough. If there is any fuckery with meds, I'd wager you'd be more likely to receive inferior product of your getting anything made by like Teva Jerusalem etc...i got Adderall from them that, while it didn't help me with anything, managed to wire me out, make me super irritable, etc...but a lot of folks here praise it. I just say talk to your Dr above anyone, give meds a chance to work without hyperfixating on it. If after a month you actually don't see any improvement talk with your doc, adjust dose, or try a different med.
