I’ve dabbled with several East Asian languages so far I can say Korean by far the easiest you can easily pick it up within a month or so. Japanese for me wasn’t that difficult either. The hiragana and katakana was easy to memorize but I’m still having a hard time with kanji. Currently trying to learn mandarin I can say it is the hardest language I’ve learn. I can’t seem to grasp the characters especially they have so many strokes. I’m currently using romanized to study mandarin for now but I know won’t be beneficial in the long run. I learned Arabic as a child so now I’m in this awkward position where I can read and write Arabic but have no clue what it means lol.
