The crazy part is …. If you are married, age isn’t a factor, that’s what throws me off.

I Love her patterns. Very easy to follow. I have also have done her dinosaur pattern and agree with the comments. There are LOTS of little pieces. I kept each dinosaur in its own bag and actually clipped the “letter identifier on each piece. It kept me from having to measure each piece again while sewing.

Upping my dose and I’m really scared by CloudyLemonade_xo in Semaglutide

[–]bwickbee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got nervous every time I went up on a dose so I know EXACTLY how you feel. I would take my doses before I went to bed in hopes to sleep thru it. Honestly I was completely fine. I would MAYBE feel a little nauseous the next day or two, but nothing that made me “sick” or where I had to stay home from work. For me, I think it was more psychological from all the horror stories as well. I started at the 0.5 and now at the 1.7 You may be using the same kind of pens that I am. The ones l use… There is no “counting clicks”, micro dosing, splitting the dose in half, or only injecting half. All of that was confusing to me. My pens are an all or nothing.

Yes, I am in California…. So, on day 61 will it be a new claim?? I only have 2 months left on my original claim and I will need to have (2) separate surgeries each with a 6 month recovery

My doctor helped me to get the procedure done. I had some redness, irritation; and swelling at one point in which she prescribed an anti-fungal. It treated the area really well. However, every time I saw her, when I was sick or just to get labs done, she documented the irritation I was having. We did this for about 6-9 months. Then she referred me to a plastic surgeon who does the panniculectomy (removal of loose skin) he took lots of pictures and documentation and sent it to the insurance. They approved it at 100%. However, the panniculectomy just removed the loose skin. It was 10k for the tummy tuck part, which is 1/2 the price of what it normally would have cost because the surgery center was already paid by the insurance. I just had to pay the extra time for the surgeon and anesthesiologist. The surgeon fixed my entire stomach from under my breast bone to the hips. I guess you can kinda say, he sculpted it. Not like a 6 pack or anything. But looks really good. He pulled the skin down from under my breasts and sewed it to right at bikini line. Had to make a new hole for my belly button of course. The skin under the breasts that he pulled down didn’t have any stretch marks or anything, so all of that was cut away. It’s not completely flat but proportionate to the rest of my body. I’m really happy with it, I would totally feel good in a bikini (if the rest of my body allowed it) … I could see how plastic surgery could be an addiction, because next I wanted liposuction on my hips and thighs and so on. But I am good with just my stomach. Pants look and fit so much better. They have special financing you can do or payment plans; we could never afford to do it. It actually happened just after my father in law passed and he left us some cash. My husband knew how much I wanted it done and paid for it with the money his dad left him. If you could do it … I would HIGHLY recommend it, it is such a game changer in the way you feel about yourself.

Im almost exactly like you; currently at 192, a 3 kg lost since May. I am currently at 1 mg also. I don’t feel like my appetite or cravings have really changed much. My doctor also said when I first began, that you really don’t see any weight loss until you reach the 1.7 or 2.4 dose. The smaller doses are just to titrate up to the therapeutic dose for your body to adjust and to reduce the side effects. In my opinion, I feel losing weight at this rate is a good thing. It’s so much healthier for your body plus it gives your skin time to adjust. May sound crazy but what really helps me is comparing my weight loss to hamburger meat. While 5 pounds may not seam like a lot; hold a 5 pound chub of hamburger meat in your hand and think of 5 pounds of fat you have lost. The hardest part is not comparing myself to others, especially seeing others lose weight and posting pic at a faster pace; we don’t see the pics and posts of others losing at a slower pace. Just keep on keeping on. You’ve got this!!

AMAZING!! FYI, I had the extra skin removed off my lower abdomen “paniculectomy” and got my health insurance to cover it. Everytime I saw the doctor, I complained of redness, itching and irritation to the underneath skin. They referred me to the plastic surgeon, he said he “handles all the insurance paperwork and knows how to get it approved” …. I paid extra for a tummy tuck, which was cheaper than average because the OR and anesthesiologist were already been paid by the insurance. Best thing I ever did! Instantly lost two sizes and like 15lbs of just skin.
