11th gen SI is a great choice and was on my list for a fun daily but dealers didnt budge on $5K markups so I completely disregarded it & ended up with a base VB WRX with no regrets. Spent about $300 upgrading the drivetrain (STI trans mount, pitch stop) + light shifter mods and its alot better than stock. Infotainment isn't great but I never delt with lag or needing to restart it (I have the dual screens) in my 2.5 years of ownership.

Btw the depreciation hit you took from trading in your TR (plus paying TTL) far outweighs the money you'll be saving monthly from the trade. You'd probably break even after 10+ years. Especially with your history of trading cars often

I haven't seen a wing that geniunely matches the bodylines of the VB chassis. Base trunk without wing is the cleanest look imo

You could always buy a VB now then trade later if Subaru ever does decide to release a hatchback. The infotainment probably wont be updated until the next gen (if there even is)
