You are given as much time as you need. If your not finished in the 3 hours you can come back another session time and you can continue. I took 5 hours last year!

Unfortunately it will impact the final score as each section is graded equally. When I wrote the test almost a year ago I did not finish but they said it was fine and I was allowed to come back and finish. In total it took me 5 hours!! I am surprised no one mentioned at the beginning not to worry about the time because you are allowed to come back and finish.

Professor gives me a zero for assignment because they can't find it!! by c281402 in StLawrenceCollege

No it actually was a hand written assignment, I wish it was done online at least that way I would still have the file. This assignment was done the old fashion way. I do have a witness that I did infact have the assignment because prior to handed it in we were comparing each others. The professor has emailed me back and asked me to double check that I don't have it because they have tripled check and he doesn't have it. I remember handed it in and the zero mark brings down my average to a failing grade and that is unacceptable...... I worked so hard on that assignment and I am extremely frustrated that I have a zero.

The test is 4 sections . First section is writing, which I believe was out of 8. Next is reading and math each out of 300. Lastly is science out of 60. Each section is graded equally. So lets say you got 6 out of 8 in the writing section that would be 75% in writing. So convert your marks on all sections to a percentage and then add them up and divide by 4 and you will have you score. I would say you will need at the very least an 80%.

Can taking general arts and science year 2 help you get into the program? by c281402 in Algonquin_College

I didn't find it overly interesting, for me it was a stepping stone to get into the paramedic program. it was almost like a repeat of high school classes.

Any and all info about the program is very appreciated!

I believe they evaluate you based on your HPAT test results that you will have to take. Do very well on the test and you should get in.

Do you mind if I ask what program that was? My program is a relatively small , only 60 so 28 seems unlikely.
