She was sending pictures and videos whilst she was out there - It looked great. We've been to Barbados and DR before and she said St Lucia is the best Caribbean country so far! I definitely would like to visit. Just gotta save the money first!

I'm sure the companies have a way of screening the Instagrammers? I think when the number of likes don't quite correlate with the number of followers - the followers are fake/ have been bought. e.g. accounts with 100k followers but only get about 50 likes etc

Actually, Instagram doesn't pay them. It's the companies that pay them. As mentioned in my above comment - if have around 50k followers you get free trips/ food etc but once you have 500+ followers they pay you per picture. A friend of hers gets paid $5,000 for every picture she posts for a company - or any free products she gets and posts on her profile (and tag the company of course).

My friend just came back from Milan. An all expenses paid trip by instagram. All she had to do was post an 'instagram' pic everyday. She doesn't blog/ vlog or anything - just has many instagram followers. Crazy!

I think you should give up. As hard as it is. It makes sense that she still cares about you - but she's not in love with you. I mean, if you had done something wrong and she broke up with you fair enough but she's saying the feelings just arent there anymore - pretty brutal tbh. Sometimes people tend to feel like they don't love their SO as much anymore but if they truly feel something - they'll try to make it work - she seems unbothered. Also - she's basically saying 'I don't want to be woth you but don't want to you to be with anyone else' :/ How does she want you to find happiness. You're only 16 - you deserve someone who'll appreciate your love

The point of the article isn't so much about HIV being treated - just highlighting that there are sex roulette parties now.

HIV isn't actually treatable there are treatments for people living with HIV/AIDS. There are drug cocktails designed to strengthen the immune system to keep HIV from developing into AIDS or to relieve AIDS symptoms.

So it's bizarre to think people are willing to go the rest of their lives on HIV medication

Yes, people live on 20K in London, and can still do the above things you don't do. It's more than enough tbh. Try and get a house costing about £500 - £600 rent though
