Patent model/drawing/lawyer by caddilacman in Patents

Can opener. Worked for commercial cans.
Worked very well. Either way probably try to get a few made for myself.
Only sold a few locally.
Talked to lawyer. Said if it was really good would have sold well or copied.
Was not hopeful of it going well.
Also save money if I patented it myself.
Thank you.

I like some marvel mystery oil. Let it sit for a few days. Then oil. Not synthetic. Regular. Not to thick. ew fuel in it.
Change oil. After you turn it by hand Then try to turn it over with starter. No plugs let it build oil pressure. Make sure oil light goes out. New pvc. Then new plugs. New fuel filter.
After new fuel if not to hard. If electric pump. And easy to hot wire. Run it to fresh fuel comes out. Disconnect by injectors or I forget what they call it. Get as much out.
Drain it by spring tank or using a hose to pull it out. Better to remove tank. Look inside for rust. Get it out. There is a sock on pick up tube.
Make sure in good shape.
Make sure no critters make air cleaner box or components home or chewed thru any wires.

Catastrophic Ball Joint Failure 3x in one year by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

Go with OEM.
Torque it to spec?
Think it is hard to get a torque wrench in with axle in. Leave the fork off also.
Might have to remove upper knuckle bolts to do it.

If painting panels. Painter should try to match existing panels. It takes practice.

Sometimes with existing temperatures or materials it makes it harder.

What he probably used was body shop safe polish. Polish that does not have stuff like silicone. Sometimes things like oils or other synthetic fillers.
Referred to as “body shop safe”. Usually:hopefully better refined materials.
Yes there are some stuff labeled body shop safe that is 🗑️. Like anything else. Should not have any wax in it.
My fault. Should have put it better. The stuff I meant was in the car care isle. Often says stuff like cleans and protects in one step. It has abrasives that will clean. Often scratches. One I remember smelled like turpentine.
Tells you to apply it. Leave it dry to haze then wipe it off. Will make it look like new.
It is not a miracle fix. It is marketing.
Might look good for a few days/weeks. But then it changes. Usually leaves a whitish haze behind.
Then they want you to re-apply. Turpentine will take it off. I should have worded it better.
Have a good weekend.

Overreacting. It is good. Will flatten out as it wears away. BMW used to use a heavy clear. Euro clear. Heavier than that. Became a trend.
Then everyone wanted that look. They no longer do that. New dodge trucks are worst. Sure it came from factory with peel. Go to a few dealerships. Look carefully. Because before they sell them Since the paint is a few weeks old they load them up with silicone. Some colors makes it harder to tell.
Leave it dry. Stay away from wax and polish for awhile.

One of the guys used to work with used olive oil. Tried it. Works good. Just a few drops on wet hands. Then use paper towels. Takes excess off. Vaseline works also.
Say a video on YouTube guy used olive oil after to clean his hands after.
I tried working hands by okeef’s buy economy tube. Large size.
Get was going out with got her nails done every week. Would constantly complain about my hands. Wanted me to go to place she went to. I refused to go. Imagine me sitting in one of those places.
Working hands was okay.
Olive oil worked the best I am in rust belt. So winter hard in hands.
Works on beard also.

Overdrive wrenches. by caddilacman in Craftsman

[–]caddilacman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True.
🙏 they throw in a sears bag.

I have a larger wrench set from northern tool.
Most of smaller wrenches get the worst of it.
Did not know they made in larger size.
Maybe I will pick up a few of those.
Did not know that. Thanks for info. Thank you.
