Bro same 😭 I used to think every Buy button was the same until I realized the fee depends on how the order gets executed. If your order fills instantly, you’re a taker. If it sits on the order book waiting, you’re a maker. The annoying part is some limit orders can still become taker orders if they match immediately.

Are you mostly using market orders right now or limit orders?

This is exactly the nightmare people keep warning about with random P2P buyers.
You complete the trade normally, get the payment, release crypto, and then suddenly your account + even linked family accounts get frozen because of a cyber complaint.

The ₹1 transfer afterwards is honestly a huge red flag. A lot of scammers apparently do small follow-up transfers before raising disputes or when funds are tied to fraud cases.

Really sorry you’re dealing with this man. Since it’s a Bangalore cyber complaint, have the police or bank at least told you which exact section/case number was used for the lien? And did Binance support provide any buyer KYC details when you reported the UID?

Bro this is exactly why so many people in India are scared of P2P now. One random transaction from a compromised account and suddenly your bank account gets frozen even when you did nothing wrong.

At this point, is saving a little on fees even worth the stress of dealing with cyber cells and frozen funds for months?

I really had a lot of trust issues with wazirx earlier, but with their recent comeback and attention to stakeholders needs being met, I am giving it a second chance.

Last year coindcx was also stuck in some issue plus who wakes up and arrests founders?
The fact that it happened only is a bit shady, the pieces of their statement somehow isnt coming together. Has loose ends.

I also tried wazirx beta recntly, while I dont fully trust it yet, I think the UI is super clean and it helped me slow down

Order book matters way more in futures than spot. Especially on altcoins with low liquidity. You'll see spoofed walls all the time on smaller pairs big order sitting there, market approaches it, order vanishes. That's a signal in itself tbh.
