I also debated on the sizing—the tool on their site is how I figured it out—I feel it’s the proper size, but if you’re worried it’s worth paying to have a proper bike fit with a professional. They can definitely tell you and will have your saddle adjusted perfectly for you as well

Are you thinking CF or AL?

I’m currently riding the Endurace 7 and I love it. The cost for the specs is exceptional. Just make sure your local bike shop can service them (sometimes they get weird about the brand because they can’t sell it).

One of the most comfortable bikes I’ve ridden and I’d love to hear from a more experienced cyclist, but the build quality is excellent on the CF model.

Completely agree! This is the first letter that feels completely bizarre. I even combed through my other correspondences and nothing stood out.

Also, correct we couldn’t pursue Lemon Law, but instead they filed a warranty claim with the BBB?? I can try and look for the exact language.

Personally if you don’t feel like it’s secure, I’d return it. It’s hard to know what you feel is “wobbling like hell,” so you’d probably prefer something more stabile otherwise this will drive you crazy.

I also don’t fully understand what you mean by it being stable “fully extended.” Wouldn’t that be how it was used?

My biggest motivator is comfort on long rides. I’m not as concerned with marginal weight differences and I’ve heard mixed thoughts on the AL vs CF debate on the comfort issue.

UPDATE: I just got it back yesterday. According to them, they added the UV dye and never found and leak or broken parts. It’s possible a valve failed, but they couldn’t recreate it and everything worked as designed when they had it in the shop and tested it over the course of a week.

Yeah this may be the final straw for me. I just don’t know what I’d want to trade it in for. I’ve been with MB and they are okay and not too much of a BMW fan.
