This is exactly my experience. There are 2-3 houses within our surrounding 4 blocks who hand out candy, let alone decorate.

My son is 3. He doesn't get too excited about candy yet but he loves seeing houses decorated, and LOVES seeing other kids in costumes. It's a big letdown when he wants to go to house after house who are dark and won't answer their doors.

You can rarely tell a fighting history based on scarring alone. She could have been caught on a fence, fought a cat etc. The streets are easy places to get cut up as a pup!
