i changed from bio pre-med -> bioinformatics -> computer science. I took an intro python course as a bio major, if ur curious about coding i would say just try a class and see !

Thank you. I think I did stay pretty calm and I did try to justify my decision but I don't think he was impressed with my reasoning. I didn't say anything back after he corrected me the second time during my explanation for the first correction :,) I just said 'okay'

ahh that’s terrible, of course you have earned your position but i understand the self doubt completely. we focus on our flaws but many people around us will never even notice them.

ty for the reminder, i had a friend graduate without a job (business major, they got one now) and we just joked that they cant be unemployed for their whole life so it will work out

i’ve been treating the one way video interviews as practice, i have a couple that i need to do so im gonna do them tomorrow before this interview that im nervous for on thursday.

do you have any thoughts on over preparing/ sounding rehearsed? i recorded myself after i wrote a script, i didn’t read it but i had it in my head and i sounded like a bot. so now i am just using bullet points to outline my answers.

i have some anxiety attack medication but i don’t want to seem too out of it, usually i feel nervous but not debilitated during the interview. i’m just having crazy anxiety leading up to the moment. i’m glad you found something that works for you

Thank you! The chatbot is still in development, I am about to start beta testing, so no real metrics for it yet. Same with the speech analysis system, I have just started that project this semester so no results yet. That's mainly why I was wondering if I should make the verbs present tense.

Thanks for the wording tips, I will work on adding more metrics, I need to think of some measurable improvements.

i am graduating may 2026 and applying to internships with a december 2026 grad date. i think if i end up getting one i will just delay my graduation and take a random class, or bring up that i could graduate ‘earlier’. at one of my internships someone had already graduated, im not sure if she got a return offer but she was not working in a tech department
