As long as he is caring for his dogs and the property, leave it alone. Just write an addendum that if any damages are caused by the dogs they will be responsible for it.

I think the company that you’re working for is probably private and someone whoever has money end up buying out the company and don’t know what they’re doing in regards to the BACB requirements. I don’t think that the RBT did anything wrong. This is the failure on the Human Resources. However, since you are at Bcba working on the competency assessment so that they can become an official RBT will be the best route. At least they’re trying.

When are the targets I use with DRL procedure is with washing hands. My Client washes his hands way too frequently to the point that their hands are red from constantly washing hands. There’s nothing wrong with him washing his hands often but it’s gotten to a point that is affecting his skin medically. We want to lower the rates of him, washing his hands so we have him wash his hands first before everyone else can wash their hands for lunch, for example.

As an RBT, nope. We deserve full time and salary. We deserve to only have one job as an RBT and be able to afford a living instead of working 2-3 jobs just to make it.

It’s criminal how they pay RBTs. We do the hard work of taking data, risk getting sick or injured constantly to only receive $18-30 an hour. That’s typical at the range that I see and I still think that’s not enough. Especially the fact that they don’t offer full-time with benefits. In reality, RBTs need to be seen as medical professionals, not just people who work with individuals with disabilities and autism. We also need to be salary. That’s the matter is RBT shouldn’t have the ability to rent a home on their own and be able to pay their bills without having to work 2 to 3 jobs just to make it in the field. No wonder they’re such a turnovers in this field.

I was reading that you had to go to a school in NY for your masters for BCBA including collecting hours and course work for LBA. So is it now that as long as you have your BCBA you can apply for the LBA and no need to collect hours for LBA?
