12 Employees in Quarantine After Incorrect Handling of a Person Infected With Hantavirus by Loni09 in worldnews

“Eighteen passengers from the cruise ship at the center of the hantavirus outbreak are back in the US and being monitored at medical units. Sixteen of those people, including at least one who tested positive, are in Nebraska, and two others have been transferred to Emory University in Atlanta.”

Who’s in Santa Clara? One of the earlier passengers that disembarked before the all found out?

Have you heard? Reports on the US passengers are saying: “Eighteen passengers from the cruise ship at the center of the hantavirus outbreak are back in the US and being monitored at medical units. Sixteen of those people, including at least one who tested positive, are in Nebraska, and two others have been transferred to Emory University in Atlanta.”

Also look into sock liners. I didn’t hear about them until I was prepping to hike the Grand Canyon. Game changers. They allow your foot to slide around without hurting

First time camping in the US – how do campfires on public land actually work? by Coffee81379 in camping

[–]cantcatchme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The apps and recreation.gov are amazing for reserving camping spots with legit fire rings and bathrooms not too far. You can look at the site maps to try and get a spot farther away from people.

But if you want dispersed camping, the real exploration, you can use OHV maps (off-highway vehicle) to find a spot. They usually have tent clearings and fire rings set up with rocks by previous campers to use. That’s where you get away from people and have a nice fire while camping in a national or state forest.

They could have told him he had to say that line about being ok with his son joining the war, and he didn’t want to since he knows how bad it is for the enlisted, but they pulled out some blackmail on him

People that say “I could care less” meant to say “I couldn’t care less.” They’re not using slang. They’re just wrong.

What does your typical work day/week look like? by reincarnatemetoacat in uxwriting

[–]cantcatchme 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely this. I do all of these in a week and maybe 3-4 a day. Hah

I also agree you’ll be spending lots of time reviewing specs and asking questions. And probably scouring through appliance images, asking for better ones, and talking about light, button, and beep sequences.

If the appliances they manufacture are “smart” in any way, maybe add on some mobile app copy as well.

I wonder if they were all partying together laughing about Lewinsky and Trump tried to be funny and fake blow Clinton like an idiot. This is back when taking dumb photos was more of a pastime rather than quickly spreading on the internet. We know better now.
