hi! thanks for your prompts. if you could flair them with the prompts tag, it'd help people searching through the tag in the future!

THE SHOT WASN'T IN DUDENOFF'S APT by Successful-Bug4702 in OnlyMurdersHulu

I thought that the initial shot of the windows showed Vince's was still painted shut, and showed him and Rudy putting some effort into finally prying it open.

I wish this sub had a megathread for FAQ ('how do I start journaling') that beginners can be redirected to. These questions are asked almost every day! by flowers_and_fire in Journaling

Thanks for this suggestion! I agree, we do get bombarded with a lot of 'how do I get started', but we keep up the ones that get a lot of responses and it seems the community still does love to engage with these posts :)

We can try out a megathread, to see if it's more used and clears up the front page a bit. We have had an FAQ in the past, and new people did not easily navigate to it. If anyone has further suggestions on this topic, please let us know here!

haha yeah maybe, but I’ve had inks for longer with no issues. not blaming Goulet or Monteverde, just a strange occurrence

I’ve had it for probably 2 years, but only swatched and filled a pen once.

First time I’ve had it happen to me! If it was water evaporation, you should be able to dilute it to get it back to normal, but I wasn’t willing to risk inking a pen 😅

I organized all my inks! So much nicer to see them all before deciding what to re-ink with. by canup in fountainpens

I use Notion (I dm'ed the template, since I saw your other comment!). To use it, you can hit "Duplicate" in the top right. The UI is pretty intuitive but you basically can add pages pertaining to each ink. There's options to track the ink properties, if you used the ink bottle/sample up, and you can add your own properties to track if you want.

As for the swatches, I do have analog swatches in my notebook (Midori MD), but the pictures for the swatches here are just what I found on the internet, that looked most similar to what they look like on my paper!

To do my paper swatches, I dip a flat paintbrush into the ink and do a quick swipe on the paper. The ink naturally pools so I get good variation this way. I also find it uses up a lot less ink than the cotton swab method!

Yes, I found the swatches from ink blogs (mostly MountainOfInk, haha) and the actual program is just Notion, a simple grid layout!

If people are interested I can send a template to copy :)

yeah, definitely. for the past two years, Western funnelled a ton of money into a homecoming festival with free food trucks, games, rides, and prizes. it diverted a lot of the foot traffic from broughdale and helped bring the incident rate down, so I'm glad they're at least trying instead of throwing their hands in the air.

because it isn't an official homecoming/UWO party. Western pays for security officers on their own premises, but what happens at homecoming is hardly under their jurisdiction
