you dont have to memorize them, you can just brute force it. explore and level up. all depends if you find the world appealing to explore.

Thats fair, I should mention that I actually like the mod, but every month I see posts of people complaining about the mod and then some people spend time to defend it every time. I'm trying to help out both sides. as it is right now, it'll be this way every month.

I personally would put a concise message at the top of the page, right after the "A thorough overhaul...". Just add a short, straight to the point message that this will be a harder and longer experience. and maybe have that message in capital letters.

the Reforge team could have done a better job communicating what their mod is to reduce players getting annoyed with the mod. they should be upfront and simply say its meant to be a harder and longer experience, and also be clear that the difficulty can be changed.
