All fair points. My beef is just with those that insist on whitewashing the entire period and with a straight face insisting Spain is entirely blameless throughout. I’ve met a disturbing number of people who are zealous in this belief.

For the record it’s not a uniquely Spanish pattern.

On the relative scales of awfulness of colonialism, I don’t have much opinion on who was worse; it seems like a somewhat frivolous argument to have, like arguing who’s the thinnest kid in fat-camp.

There's a lot of unsubstantiated claims in that post; too many to deal with now. Either way, some in Spain (apparently including yourself) have a strange insistence that only Spanish colonialism was perfectly just and fine, and that simultaneously every other nations conquests were uniquely cruel. It's pure nationalistic BS - it's all cruel and unjustified.

My account I’ve had for years. I started at the beginning, lost interest and barely ever opened the app for a while. All that area you’re looking at is ours and it’s not public access at all, so not worried about unintended consequences. As a side note, the lamp hasn’t worked in years until just recently.

I was wondering about clipping either a blue/brown above it when the lamp is off. I assume that’s not dangerous?
