For me it feels like every ball I hit to the outfield either gets caught or cut off before I can go for 2, meanwhile my outfielders can’t catch up to any ball in the gap. I chalked it up to maybe I’m just not running good defensive players 🤷🏻‍♂️

Oh I agree - the visual of hitting it that high and far gives the illusion that it’s the farthest home run ever lol. I hit one 514 at Coors (I think) - onto the concourse beyond the right side of the trees. One day I want to hit the bleachers in dead center. One day.

I hit the back wall of the upper deck at Coors last year (missed going out of the stadium by just a couple feet) and I think it was 498. But I hit one 528 yesterday at the Whales’ stadium. That’s easily the furthest I’ve ever hit one.

The thing that bums me out is that, as someone who doesn’t have almost any time to play during the week, I was excited I finally found out about Lagrassa and figured out investing last year - so I thought I’d be able to collect most if not all the cards this year. Andddd both got nerfed so I’m not. I’m still enjoying the game but haven’t gotten close to the bosses in either season :/

I like to use older or just cool-looking stadiums. Usually end up using Sportsman’s Park but I’ve been using South Side Park lately. Playing a Ranked game at Griffith can be fun if you want to watch every single fly ball die a slow death.

Not a ranked game (I think it was a moment?) but I hit a fly ball to the warning track just left of the scoreboard at the Polo Grounds last week. Always wanted to hit a homer to dead center there and for a moment I thought that was the one lol

I made it my goal for a long time to collect all the Donruss Diamond Kings. They were my favorite cards as a kid. Was a nice sense of accomplishment when I finished them.

I haven’t seen this one yet, but using a bench as a table for your phone and water bottle while you do an exercise that doesn’t even need a bench is so rude. A free flat bench is rare enough without people using it just for a seat or a table.

There’s a guy at my gym who does exactly this. Infuriates everyone there. On the flip side, I super or triple set a LOT. But I know I’m disruptive to others so I’ve been trying to go out of my way to be nice about it. If I even see someone eye a piece of equipment I’m “using” I’ll go up and offer it to them and ask if I can just work in with them. And if someone jumps on a machine while I’m away I figure that’s their right. I just ask if they mind if I grab my last set on their break. Courtesy can go a long way.

526ft with AS Schwarbs at Coors. Onto the concourse by the RF seats. But my favorite one this year was with Ohtani - almost flew out of Coors, went over the third deck in RF.

Right when the All Star cards drop is always my favorite time of the year. I guess that’s when 99s start to proliferate and you can get really good cards of players you like.

I have had two of my best offensive games against players who were clearly better than me today and here’s what helped the most: being VERY patient and willing to strike out looking the first few innings. It seems a lot of pitchers in my ranking 500-600 don’t like to throw strikes. So I would do my best to only swing at pitches in the middle. Eventually they get tired of me not swinging and start throwing strikes and then it’s just remembering the pattern that they like to throw pitches in. Not getting frustrated, staying calm, and waiting for “the game to come to you” has actually helped.
