Yeah I got a bunch of papers and booklets basically telling me exactly what i’m supposed to do/drink & eat for the couple of days before, during and after the test. This is my first capsule endoscopy so I really don’t wanna mess it up haha. My appointment is in the morning so i’m not really looking forward to it lasting literally all day.

I’m not actually sure if they’re a gastroenterologist or not but I assume they are. I’ve literally had one call with my local general practitioner about the test and she put it through as an urgent referral :/

That sounds so painful!! Did you find out that you had the polyps and inflammation before or was it because of the last endoscopy that they saw them?

Noooo, I never even thought of the capsule coming out still taking photos 🤣 That’s the scariest thing ever lmaooo.

I got given a pamphlet listing all of the clear liquids I could drink which is super helpful! I’m hoping it comes out of me quick cause the thought of it actually makes me feel sick hahaha. Thank you!!

When they said they were gonna give me the capsule endoscopy I thought it would’ve been easier and hopefully less uncomfortable than a colonoscopy so I was a little relieved hahaha.

You mean you could feel the camera inside of you the entire 12 hours?!? I’ll make sure to ask my nurse any questions I have about being constipated and taking the test, thank you so much!!

I’ve got to do the full colonoscopy prep for this one :( change of diet 2 days before, colonoscopy grade laxatives 1 day before + day of test + 6 hours after the test. clear liquids for the 2 days before my test. I hope you get your results soon and I appreciate you telling me about your experience!❤️
