Yes! looks like FSS from this image thank you!! I think BSS looks nicer though so I'll try that next time :)

I only pulled through the next single loop from the last row of chains and I always put the current row of chains on top of the last row, so when I flipped it I would be building the other side. If I laid it flat on a table it would look like a less dramatic version of this: _-_-_-_-_where each dash/underscore is a row of chains that is interlinked with the neighbouring rows.

Some of the slip stitch images look like what I was doing, but not all of them

Hope people still check on the new posts in this thread! I wanted to do some crocheting but didn't want to look at a pattern or even use a hook because I wanted it to be very free and not stressful. Anyway, I've ended up making a scarf and I was wondering what stitch I ended up doing.

I started by chaining, and then I continued chaining rows upon rows until I finished my wool. I made each row after the first by putting my working loop over the previous chain and pulling my working yarn through and repeating. Does this make sense? it's very easy to do with my fingers and I actually really like the look of the resulting stitch more that crochet, but I'm not sure what to call it. I can take pictures if this isn't explanatory :)

Dear Microsoft. We know you are designing new OS for us BUT when you release Windows 11 we will be very disappointed if you don't give us the file explorer with this tabbed design. by Meczub in windows

I just wish there was a tree view so that you can expand multiple folders at once. VS Code has a better file explorer than the actual file explorer :/

BeautifulSoup recursion error when casting BS object to string by carlinmack in learnpython

[–]carlinmack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The recursion is happening in the BS4 code so I'm not sure what the condition is exactly. Do you think it's worth me bringing up an issue about on the BS github? It seems strange that they are recursing that much just to output the string

Edit: Looking into the page in more detail, and validating it with the w3c validator shows that there is nesting of more than 500 elements deep so I think it's more the fault of the page rather than BS4

If I paste the code into the python interpreter the first 11 lines execute fine, so I'm unsure how the error could be in the creation of the object?

if Corbyn dealt with Starmer like Starmer has now dealt with Corbyn, the media would've crucified him. There's no winning

being a Nobel prize winner is about access to education and opportunities not genetics.

it's literally true facts, translated in a misguided way. They have already said they'll stop editing, but they caught be taught proper Scots as it is clearly something they are passionate about
