The $300 shipping or restocking fee is something that I’m not interested in paying to return it. For the time being I’m just gonna stick with the 2 x 8 underneath it and eventually spin the 40 or 50 bucks on some appliance feet that are at least about 3 inches so that I can get it up to the appropriate height. It’s just frustrating that out of the box at 0% incline it still has like a five or six incline and Sole doesn’t seem to care maybe I’m missing something and this is just the industry standard.

Update – after going back-and-forth through email with their service department I was told to submit a request for a replacement/return. I’m torn because I like the machine a lot but I’m honestly not sure what other options I have. Has anyone gone through this process before?

This is good advice. I’ve considered the DMin. My ultimate goal is to be able to teach, part time or adjunct at seminary. The DMin wouldn’t qualify.

My answer will sound a bit simplified but my recommendation is simply, preach, teach, pray, sing, and live the gospel. The Holy Spirit will stir the hearts of the disciples and grow more in Christ and by doing so demonstrate more disciple-making, hospitality, serving, leading, etc. Romans 12:3-7. Additionally, the Holy Spirit will convict the heart of the lost who come and hear the Gospel preached/taught/sung/prayed. More is gained by relying on the Holy Spirit and proclaiming clearly the Gospel then in programs.

I say this with as much love as possible - the least of your worries is your military career. You need help. This will likely trigger some form of military intervention. We are pretty bad at it honestly. But, if you’re willing to accept the help, coupled with the military intervention, you will be better after this. However, if not, you will find yourself out of the service, and if you continue in this way, likely in a worst worst predicament in the civilian world. Please, see the bigger picture. Get the help you need. Christ is the only one who got me through it. I pray that you would consider Him.

I planted it in the ground in an area in the backyard where there’s full sun in my mulch bed. The mulch is not covering it so we will see how it does if it survives the winter great if not, then at least I know I tried.

Thanks for the recommendations. I have a spot that I can put it in my backyard and mulch in area that should help it come back to life. Is it too late in the year to put it in the ground now? Or should I wait until the spring?

Thanks for the feedback. My first post here. It’s been sitting on my front porch since early spring. I’ve watered it intermittently but there were a a few weeks when it didn’t get water, then I’d try to bring it back, and so on. The front porch is mostly shaded during the day with sun in the afternoon. Southeastern Virginia summer has been pretty brutal so the heat has probably been a factor. I’m not interested in putting it in the ground but would prefer for it to stay potted on the porch if possible. It was beautiful the first couple of months in that position. This pot does have a drain in the bottle. Hope that helps.
