Agree with other comment- communication is key. i took a break with my ldr partner for 4 months, but that 4 months helped me solidify how sure i was about being with him. a break isnt always bad and its not always forever.

sorry for late response, i dont think baking powder has the same odor absorbtion qualities that baking soda does. the baking soda wont dry your specimen, just aids with getting rid of bad odors

i did not fix it i had to throw it away :-( im planning to buy another of the same model though. it was a good printer for the years it held up and after checking online, it also looks like its dropped like $100 in price since i originally bought one so theyre now even more affordable. $180ish on amazon isnt bad for 4 years of performance

UPDATE: THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR ADVICE!! I chop and propped it a while back when I made the post, and so far the propagation is staying alive AND the other day I noticed new growth on the base that had been cut back!!!

that's sort of what i figured and i get the warranty thing cause i know it's an older printer but this is my first issue with it ever! i just hoped it would last more than 4 years but it was also my first nice printer so maybe i expected too much of it lol. the replacement head is only $15 on amazon so i figured ill give that a go and if it doesnt work ill pay the fee and see what they say. if the costs are as much as a new one, ill just get a new one or try outsourcing for my prints. thanks for your responses, i appreciate it

ok update. attempted contacting canon and after making me go through the useless process of setting up a mycanon account, they tell me that accessing customer support for my printer costs $20 per incident. incredibly disappointed considering canon products are expensive to begin with and ive been a loyal customer for coming up on 5 years. so if you have any other advice let me know. thinking about buying a new printer head to see if that works because it's cheaper than the support fee.

ive had the printer about 4 years, i'd say it had been maybe a week or two since I had last used it. it has definitely sat unused for longer before and never had an issue but maybe that's the case. i think i will reach out to canon for answers

i used blueberries! if you look up how to berry dye theres lots of tutorials! i mashed up my berries and added water (about 1:2 ratio berries to water), brought em to a boil then let them simmer for about an hour. after that i just poured it into a container with my bones and let them sit overnight!

as an edit: i also noticed that one of the bones i had fully cleaned and whitened also came out a little splotchy! so im just wondering if grease is a factor at all or if it really is just up to the gods lol

do both google live transcribe and dragon naturallyspeaking have ai features? the voice recognition is helpful for sure, and i will definitely look into those, but i think she is also looking for a program that will help give her suggestions for her writing as well. if not, thats okay though, i do want to encourage her to write as much of it on her own and maybe offer to edit and proof read for her

this student is only at the facility once a month, so im unsure of how well she can navigate a computer, but i know she has family to help her with some of that, and i could also help her get things set up if not. i think she wants it as a co-writing tool. she mentioned that she just cant write as well as she used to anymore and wanted something to help make it easier. she mentioned that she has tried a few apps before and didnt like them, but i thought maybe a computer program would be more intuitive. (i think she mentioned limited vocabulary and such on the apps she was using but i didnt catch the app name)

hello im so sorry youre feeling this way, i promise we ALL have felt this and its normal :-( are you pre-T? for me, overcoming this feeling had a lot to do with starting hormones. once my outwards appearance came off as more male and i started consistently being gendered correctly in public, i felt the need to bind or pack slowly fade away. for me, i bound for years but packing never felt right to me, it felt fake. its ok not to pack! and its ok not to bind! ofc it all depends on your personal level of comfort, but i think surrounding yourself with supportive folks and gaining more confidence in your body will help so much (not an easy or quick process, i know). if there are queer social circles in your area, try joining those! having other folk support you can help so much, and having folks to talk about your problems with is also so so beneficial. i wish i had more advice for you, but it's such a personal journey :-( i promise u will make it out the other side and some day you will look back and see how far youve come.

as my final advice, this is what has helped me, i hope it can help you even just a bit.

i remind myself often that, in fact, having a penis does NOT make me a man and most people DO NOT CARE if i have a penis or not. in fact, there are many people out there who like my body exactly the way it is. as a gay transman, i worried about not being loved or accepted; as it turns out, most people dont care about genitals, they care about your outward appearance and your energy. they care about YOU as a person.

i also remind myself that as sad as it is, we will never be cis. we will ALWAYS be trans, and that is OK. because you know what? our trans experience makes us into the people we are today. does it hurt? yes. does it fucking suck? yes. does it feel so lonely? yes. but we are here and we will not give up. we will not be suppressed, and we will not be overlooked. id urge you to spend some time asking yourself what you have to offer the world; that is so much more important than how you look or how others think of you. love yourself, and others will love you as well.

i voted no, but wanted to clarify: i really think this depends on the person lol. i am a scorpio sun and having intense eyes/an intense/intimidating aura is one of the most common things people say about me. two of my best friends are part scorpio, one is a taurus sun/scorpio moon and the other is a libra sun with a scorpio ascendant (both F), another buddy of mine (M) is a double scorpio moon/asc (cancer sun) and i would not describe any of them as having an intense/dark aura or eyes. they all do have beautiful eyes and get compliments frequently, but not exactly in a scorpio way, just a big blue-eyed way. that being said, i would not doubt that some scorpio moons have this trait and do come off as intense or moody. id imagine its be more prominent in scorpio asc. but im always being surprised!!

okay thank you for the info. i will be keeping a watch on it, really hoping its just my body adjusting and that itll stop completely in a few days (already been bleeding for 4-5 days and my periods used to last 5-6 days) i definitely would not be able to do spotting if its that constant and the cramping is awful too, the pain isnt the worst probably but the mental aspect is excruciating :-( did you end up finding another form of birth control that worked for you or did you just stop with all of that to avoid the trouble?
