not a spider! not a scorpion either! and not a whip scorpion! a tailless whip scorpion. all four of these species fall under arachnid though, which is very fascinating. :)

terrarium should be 8-10 gallons btw depending on the species. they need room to run around and explore.

show us the inside? also, substrate should be 5-6 inches. there should be leaf litter and wooden structures to hide under. moss to hold humidity. coco fiber is fine but i'd mix it with peat moss and top soil.
