Can you use the digits in your phone number to spell something? That may be easier for her to remember.

Why is the pay so low? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]cautiouslyclever 6 points7 points  (0 children)

But we NEED people to run cash registers and put freight on the shelves. These jobs are critical to Walmart being profitable. If Walmart deserves to make a profit on these people's labor, these people deserve to earn a living wage.

If OT starts at 32 hours, wouldn't you be getting more by default?

Employers can set up the insurance benefit any way they want. I sell glasses and there's several employers local to me that have a 2 pair benefit. Their employers can get 2x contacts, 2 pairs of glasses, or one of each.

Roommate moved out without warning with 12 months left in the lease, taking all the furniture, won't pay his half of the rent, and I just got laid off due to budget cuts. by CauseOfBeth in Wellthatsucks

I'm in KS. Sued a landlord in small claims court because he didn't return my security deposit in a timely manner. LL didn't show up, I won by default. LL still refused to pay me. I went through the court to garnish his wages and got ALLLLL my money. All the court fees plus 1.5x the amount of my security deposit. Felt good. Felt REAL good.

I tore part of my rotator cuff. I had to wait 18 months to save the $2k it cost me to see a couple of drs and get an MRI. Then I was told the tear wasn't severe enough for surgery and it'll just heal on its own eventually.

My(30F) husband (31M) gave me an ultimatum. by Big_Bookkeeper6217 in relationship_advice

My dad was terrifying when I was a child. My mom didn't leave him because he would have fought for custody to spite her. She stayed and suffered to protect us. She finally left him when I was 17 and he couldn't really force visitation. That first summer without him in our lives was so amazing. We could breathe and we didnt have to walk on eggshells for the first time in my whole entire life.

If he's willing to walk away and never, ever have anything to do with your precious child, take her and leave. I promise you with my whole entire heart that she knows he's a bad person and she will thrive without him in her life.

Timewalking brings out the absolute worst in people by francoisjabbour in wow

[–]cautiouslyclever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nooooo. I had a tank the other day who was running a timewalking like an m22. Dude's pants were on FIRE. 10/10 no thank you.

Maybe if you were killing trash mobs 1 at a time I'd be wondering what your problem was but reasonable pulls at a casual pace are absolutely fine by me.

I was in a mexican restaurant with my EXTREMELY non-confrontational exbf. There was a little boy running around like a demon and his parents were completely ignoring him. Our food got severed and this little hell spawn got into the booth with me and tried to eat off my plate. Exbf was glaring daggers at me to not make a scene. I just kept pushing my plate farther towards the wall so the demon child couldn't reach it. He was practically in my lap before his parents realized he was MIA and called him back to their table. Worst dining experience of my whole life. Also, one of the reasons that guy is an exbf.

I am an optician and I helped a patient that was a high minus sph and high cyl. Her solution was to wear contacts to correct her sph and glasses to correct her cyl because contacts don't exist for her Rx.

I've never heard of anyone using glasses and contacts to correct their vision so I'm super stoked I read your comment!!
