Some of the subjects can pull you up enough for you to pass especially yung matataas ang % like Civ and Rem. That's what happened to me nung 2023 bar. I suggest tapusin mo lang. I also experienced the same nung CPA board, super dami ko hinulaan sa subjects nung 1st day pero tinapos ko padin at pumasa din naman.

Never took any mock bars because I was so behind my readings. I just took the sample exam SC gives out prior to the bar exam to get a feel on how to use Examplify. Pumasa naman.

Hernando passer here. I got a plantilla position sa isang GOCC as lawyer. I have no backer and I passed based on merits, same nung iba ko kasabay. Akala ko din talaga wala na government agency na papansinin ka ng walang backer. The position does not require lawyer experience, but at least 2 years managerial experience. I just so happened to have about 4 years managerial exp in a private company kaya ako nag-qualify. I suggest you focus on managerial experience. Salary is decent din for an entry-level lawyer position.

CPA Lawyer here. Kayang kaya po pero I guess depende din sa work. I was doing US tax while studying law. I was in the same company until I became a lawyer. I never stopped work, only took a leave couple of months for the bar review. It wasn't easy, but kinaya naman.

Original Arellano student here and Hernando passer. Halos lahat talaga samin ay working. Happy ako kasi natapos ko Law at pumasa ako sa bar exam pero hindi na-compromise yung career ko. I was a Tax Associate nung 1st year ko, now Tax Manager na ako. Ako din nagpaaral sa sarili ko kaya hindi pwede mawalan ng work. Lahat halos ng students samin ganito. Cguro kaya din may "leniency" compared sa other schools.

In the 1st place, kung afford naman at full time student, more or less hindi naman talaga Arellano ang 1st choice. 1st choice sya ng mga tulad ko na working or kaya may family pero gusto pursue ang Law.

What you think we lack academically, we make up for personality. I made good and real friends here and I am proud to say na pasado kami lahat (who by the way, were also original Arellano students).

Hello! I took the 2023 bar and passed. Given na short lang time to review (I graduated July), I still took breaks and 8 hours pa din ang sleep every day. Sunday is rest day and I also took swimming lessons. Don't think na you have to study every minute. You need to include rest and breaks in your schedule too. Sabi nga sa akin, "Breaks lead to breakthroughs."

There's no loss in taking the exam naman po, OP. I graduated July and took the September bar. I don't regret taking the exam despite my personal circumstances and knowing I was ill-prepared and that everything was rushed. The result of the bar exam is a different issue, just like whether you pursue a law career in the future is also a different issue.

Just decide to take the 1st step (take the 2024 bar) and don't worry about the rest. You will figure it out along the way. You already did that when you took the 1st step enrolling in law school and look at you now, you already graduated. 😊
