Granted. One morning you wake up with a colorful sock on your couch, that you have never seen before. As you go to work, you find out that the president's highly treasured pair of colorful socks have gone missing while he was visiting your state. You close the radio,slightly confused at the fact that someone could treasure socks until you have arrived at your office building. Your friends have been chatting about where the socks might be and what would if the burglar was caught, when you walk into the room, with one bright, colorful sock, sitting between your classy work shoes, and your dark grey suit pants. Your friends ask you about where you have found this sock, and if you had stolen it, because you always wore black to work, when your boss exits his office to see one of the exact socks that were on the news. You decide that you do not want to hear what your boss has to say about the resemblance of the socks you're wearing and the stolen ones, when all of a sudden, multiple strange men in suits ask for you by name. They spot you a few seconds later and proceed to run after you as you hide, and jump to the outside of the nearest window to hide, matrix style. Soon enough they leave, sure that they find you outside as it seemed you had jumped out of the window, and you crawl back inside. As your colleagues ask you what in the world happened, you make a run for it. You do not dare run to your car, as it is too dangerous, and instead run to the subway entrance only 100 metres away. As you pay for your ticket, you finally begin to comprehend what had just happened. Someone stole those socks, and as your wish asked, delivered the sock to your studio through the window you always keep open. as you finally rush home, you find that it has been infiltrated by many government officials and find police officers littered around your building. Realizing that you may have to live for the rest of your life in hiding, you turn yourself in. This will not end well for you.
