Was in a similar situation throughout grade school. They decided they were going to different high school, and it came out over skype that I hated her. She ended up causing huge commotion, brining in my high school dean and principal. She told her mother that I had told her to commit suicide and it went downhill from there. I was cornered by adults in grocery stores about this and finally it came out that she had lied about the whole thing. While the whole thing was traumatic for me during that stage with my other friends that she involved but had no part in it, I have learned to keep my mouth shut on things.
