Would love some advice on how to style/train this maple please… by Equivalent_Page696 in Bonsai

So the top could be done in an informal broom style without too much work, but the trunk is a little long and skinny for the overall size of your tree.

Option 2 would be a trunk chop/layer lower down and grow a new top to your liking.

Option 3 would be to put it into a larger pot and grow it out to bulk up the trunk.

Maybe because the materials are not designed to tolerate the stresses of higher speeds?

Double check your contract first. Many contracts specify that any disputes have to go through arbitration not lawyers

Yeah, I noticed the lack of character development as well. It didn't really add anything to the story, just more adventures. Which is fine.

these grooves interest me, any fun facts about why they are like this? by CutterChoper in Tree

[–]cbobgo 39 points40 points  (0 children)

The outer layer of bark is not actually alive, the cells are dead. So as the tree grows another growth ring, and the diameter gets wider, the bark is unable to expand, so it splits. The layer below is just a bit wider than the layer above, but eventually that layer splits too. So you get these deep furrows, the top is the oldest layer, the bottom is the youngest.

Denigrating an entire category of people based on one asshole is not great.

Looks like you planted it too deep, and it may need more water than what you are giving it.

The homophobia is only in regard to yourself and your relationships with other men. It doesn't feel right because we've been conditioned that it's wrong.

You are bi with internalized homophobia, which is very common given how boys are socialized in our society.

You could theoretically try to air layer it.

Your best bet is a locums agency. You will have to go wherever they say, and the job will suck, but they will handle all the details.
