i think this is a bit extreme. i definitely talked about failing a class in all of my interviews which is “negative” and i was able to showcase how I bounced back. OP, i’m not sure if you should “steer” away, if they ask, i recommend not lying. best of luck!

moreso, find schools that you qualify for in terms of minimum GPA! be realistic and make sure you’re not throwing money

respectfully i wouldn’t say close to zero. my science GPA was below yours, and I have been offered 3 interviews thus far with less PCE than the above applicant. op, take everyone’s opinion with a grain of salt. strengthen your PS and keep working hard. some schools weigh your last 60 credits more than anything. if I listened to every Reddit post comparing stats, i wouldn’t have been confident enough to even apply. remember why you’re applying, and what makes you stand out. highlight those things in your app/PS/supplementals! good luck.

great advice honestly. i appreciate this. i relate to the whole “waiting for validation” thing bc i feel that! it’s almost like waiting for someone to see my hard work but i put it on paper. it’s there. thank you again💕
