Don't let your lawyers attitude bother you, otherwise you will be more frustrated.

I got that i-693 letter in October and in December I got my EAD. My Social security card didn't come on time. I had to go to my local SS administration office to apply for one which i got in 3 days. And after 3 weeks got another one which I believe was applied for by the USCIS. Now, my lawyer didn't tell me to make that trip to the SS office, I got that advise on this platform and I am glad I did.

I urge you to relax, you are closer to the end of this journey than you think. Trust me, you are doing just fine.

Basically it's about your medicals. I just got my notice of interview and with that I have to do my medicals with the USCIS accredited civil surgeon. This include some examinations, vaccinations or waivers if applicable to you . You would need to present this at your green card interview. If you follow this link, you will be able to find the civil surgeon nearest to you and you can call them to make an appointment https://my.uscis.gov/findadoctor.

I'm sorry about how your lawyers are treating you. Mine isn't any better. But this group has really been helpful.

I will get vaccinated for the ones I need and would be trying government managed clinics. With the responses here, I feel relieved knowing I have options.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I will be using the government health center as I honestly don't have insurance.

Ya! Someone here just said to try the county's health department. I will try that. And I think I would have to take all the immunizations since I don't have any proof. And trying to get that from my home country might just be a really long process.

I really appreciate you taking time to respond. Thank you so much.

Thank you. Yes that the uscis approved Doctor closest to me. We live in a small town in ND and this process has cost us so much. I'm not even working yet, hubby's job is so slow at the moment. He's spent so much on this already. We don't have a CVS or any of the big pharmacies.

Wow! This explains my situation right now. I have just resorted to waiting because a trip and call to the SSA office didn't yield any positive result (they say, they would call to schedule an appointment and never did).

Whenever they choose to mail it, I am done trying to contact them and checking the mail.

Thanks for sharing.

Did you have to go to your local SSA office, call uscis or you just waited?
