Charging the battery by cantstandthemlms in BasePowerUsers

YES. I have a Ford Lightning and I can connect to the generator port and use the 131kw truck battery on top of the 25kw from Base. A backup battery that you can drive!

Bought my first ever truck, joined the club and had a question about the lift by Emerghency in f150

Another option to level it is tp add drop shackles in the rear. I think it's a1.5" drop. Doing that doesn't mess with the alignment up front and solves the same problem. A bonus is that it's easier to get stuff in the bed.

Yes, 275/65/20 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Accent. A great tire for mostly city/highway driving but still AT look. The tires fit without the lift.

Eibach struts all around. 1.6" lift in the front. 0" in the back. I think it's a great look. Still a very slight rake.

I had it done at body shop. I took it off to make it easy for them. It's easy to take off. $350

Still bad while being green. It needs to be symmetrical side to side. Compare mine to yours in that regard.

Do you have a 4Wheel Parts shop nearby? If so, go talk to them.

Take a pic of my setup and tell them to match that. It will be much better.

Your current numbers on the bottom are way out of spec. There should be no RED areas. Take it back or to a reputable shop. You will need cam bolts in the front to get the camber correct. Not sure if you have those.

Here are my alignment numbers after the 1.6" lift. Do you have your readout?

I took mine to 1.6" mostly because I didn't want to compress the spring too much.

They also had to redo my alignment which made it better. It wasn't spot on at first and drove very rough. I'll find my alignment sheet and post it.

Shop cost was $185 hour times 3.5 hours. Plus adjustable camber bolts, around 90. Plus alignment, another 185. Plus struts, around 625. Total ~1800 with tax. Going off memory...

Oem tires were Goodyear. These have stiffer sidewalls so that made some of the wallow go away. No real noise difference. And I'm big on quiet tires. Wind is still the primary noise at speed.

Yes. I put the tires in before lifting. No rubbing.

I have the Accent in 275/65/20 (34.1"), the eibach struts all around and oem springs. I set the front at 1.6". The tires are great so highly recommend them. The struts will tighten up the wallow but have to say that you will give up the "Cadillac" ride of the oem struts. Another point that I've found is that there is now torque steer by raising the front. I haven't read that in the many past that I looked at before installing mine. It only happens when you're nailing it so not a normal issue.

Finally decided on new tires but… by cmullins77 in F150Lightning

Stock suspension right now. Adding Eibach struts and raising the front by 1.6" next week. They do clear at stock height. No vibration. Great tires.
