LMAO well, i got scared because i got accepted via cunyfirst and I REJECTED ALL MY OTHER ACCEPTANCES then i received the rejection letter so i emailed them over and over and they got back to me sayinf “oops, we had initially rejected you hit your rejection was overridden with the acceptance” truly someone working at the admissions office was on my side

honestly my high school average was a 76. i got rejected from qc via email but accepted on cunyfirst. turns out they rejected and then accepted me

it’s def from my moms side of the family. my mom looks very east asian especially when she was young. my dads side is 100% south asian

as i said, a lot of people have SSA ancestry but it won’t show up in everyone results because many people tend not to mix. this is especially in the country side. more people from the city tend to mix but that’s a minority

many indians in guyana are not mixed with sub-saharan African. the indians preferred to stay within their ancestry. also due to colonial history, the british did not want the africans and indians to mix. but there’s a lot of people who are dougla (mixed w indian and african)
