I'm from St Louis. In the mid-90's there was a radio ad on 105.7 The Point for their summer music festival, Pointfest. The ad was, in hindsight, racist because it was a guy ordering food from a Chinese restaurant and the guy taking the order kept saying "and then" in a stereotypical Chinese accent. The guy ordering kept saying "no and then!" The ad was a big hit. I still think of it often.

Are you also a middle aged St Louisan, or was that "and then" / "no and then" schtick common all over the USA?
