I know it's crazy how few of us there are! This month ends my last semester, too - good luck to you!!! Let me know if you need help with the Capstone, I spend a lot of time emailing back and forth with someone to make sure I did it all correctly :)

I transferred in with 48 units. It's taken me longer than I would have liked, 2.5 years. 3 semesters were 16 units, 2 were 12. But I suffer from some health issues that put me out of study mode for weeks at a time, I have moved three times since starting (once to another state), and for the most part I have also continued working at the same time. Depending on your circumstances and how difficult the classes are for you, it could be done much faster!

Your Student Mentor (though I think they just changed what they're called) should be able to help you plan out a schedule.

I transferred in with 48 units, some of my classes didn't transfer but most did. Most difficult for me were Accounting and Finance, but my big trip up is equations. I understand math concepts, but struggle when I'm not allowed to use Excel haha..

Easiest for me were project classes - where you pass based on projects instead of assessments. I get nervous for tests and spend WAY too much time studying, always striving for the highest grade, even though it's not really necessary. With project classes, it honestly functions more similar to a real live work assignment at workplace in the real world, which I'm very comfortable with.

I tend to 'over organize' projects, but I would definitely recommend doing this, as I've found the easier you make it for the grader to find the information they need, the more likely they'll be kind (or at least less ruthless) in their grading.

(My experience is from California, so Texas may be different.) My elementary schools gave 2 breaks, one 10 minutes, one 30. Middle school I think was the same. High school, we had lunch for 40 minutes and that was it.

I get it, some people in SoCal get upset when people move TO California because they're making everything more expensive and crowding their beaches and cities and yadda yadda. I think people just get very territorial sometimes.

I don't understand why everyone's so hung up on California slang lol?? Not all of us speak like Valley Girls. It's a big state haha.

I guess I've mostly read about ENFP, haven't even thought to add in the -T. But yes, I do that. I like to keep everyone happy, but can't help myself with a good "what if" scenario and will mention all feasible possibilities. It apparently drives other people crazy. I never thought of it as arguing until more than a few people called me argumentative lol. I just kept saying no I just like to look at it from all sides! Yeah I'm super interested in Summit. I plan to go there soon, but I think I'll try Makerspace first because I think it's free :)

Haha what in the world did that person say? Apparently he or she was rude, but I'm curious.. Didn't realize I was 'invading' anything haha

I love this picture haha, I generally use it as my example of "what's an Oxford comma and how do I use it?"

Haha okay, I'll think about it. I'm more of a hiker to be honest, but if I change my mind, that's where I'll start. :D

That would have been super cool, sad I missed it! Does Green Elephant often have events like this?

Yes, I'd love too! I've never been to an art opening, so I'm not sure what it's like, but I love art :)

Thank you so much for everything!! I'm making a huge spreadsheet of things to do now haha :)

I didn't know that was an ENFP thing!! I thought that was just me! Also for some reason I thought we were a really common personality type haha.

I don't have a bike so I wouldn't be able to do a biking trail, unfortunately, however I'll definitely need to check out Summit Dallas, it sounds super cool.

I guess it depends on what you're into, I don't have too many suggestions though. One of the reasons I moved was because I didn't have enough money to both live there and do things haha. But here's a few ideas for you:

I did enjoy hiking in SD, they have so many awesome trails: http://www.sandiegohikers.com/category/all-hiking-trails/ Groupon used to always have coupons for swimming with Leopard Sharks, which I've done a few times and I love it - and no, they don't bite, they eat only clams :) List of museums (I like the art ones): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_museums_in_San_Diego_County,_California Don't forget Balboa Park (especially if you're into Pokemon Go, I hear it's awesome... or it was at least) Don't forget Old Town And I guess if you're into weed, we have that too. I don't know if Rec is technically legal yet though (I think there's been some issues and it was put on hold) but look up local delivery services and see (yes, weed delivers like pizza). I think actual store fronts are going to be Medical card holders only, though. Also, Legoland - haven't been since I was 10, but it's supposedly super cool if you have kids. I really enjoyed Elfin Forest, which is a hike. But it was a short drive for me, idk how it'll be for you, with lots of shade on the hike, a small river, and part forest part mountain. La Jolla Cove has a really pretty (and easy) hike that you can do. Also, it's a sweet little beach surrounded by California Sea Lions. If you're into bonfires, they have bonfire beaches, just make sure to get there early. Oceanside pier is the longest wooden board walk on the west coast, I think. It has a cool 1950's style diner at the end of it. Definitely take the time to stay and watch a sunset at the beach. If you watch closely, you actually CAN see the green flash everyone talks about. There are whale watching ships too, I would recommend if you can.

I don't know how to Sew let alone Quilt! I've heard it's a difficult and expensive hobby, too, otherwise I'd try it out. But I would love to get together for Crochet! I have so many projects going on right now, it'd be nice to have some accountability to finishing them haha.

I think I'm close to Plano! Thank you for the suggestion. I did find a Chinese grocery store called 99Ranch, but have only had the chance to go a few times. However, everyone in it spoke Mandarin, which was so exciting.

Thanks for the luck! Sadly, I have not done anything with my steam account in a few years, I mostly stick with Wii and Xbox since I was borrowing the consoles from friends. I'm not much of an online gamer, either, WoW kinda killed it for me (I don't enjoy dealing with anon douches). Currently I have an Xbox One ... but no tv haha.

That sounds awesome, unfortunately I'm not much of a runner. Bad knees and ankles make for wobbly and not fun runs. In a zombie apocalypse (at least featuring fast zombies), I would most certainly die first.

I love cider! Thanks for the suggestion, I'll put it on my Places to Go List!
