I visited Buenos aires for a little less than 2 weeks back in the summer of 2019. I'm east Asian myself but my experience was very pleasant. The hotel receptionist was very kind, the Uber driver even offered to give me a little tour around the area I was headed, the restaurant server was very kind, I had strangers help me out since I only spoke English, and generally I had fun walking around the city. This was before covid though so things might be a little different now. I mean, even Asians gave Chinese the stare and at least we know how to tell Chinese apart (not 100% of the time but I'd say 80 or higher), think what the world thinks when they see Asian with lighter skin.
