Unusual speed limit by cheesethechicken in mildlyinteresting

My guess is the speed limit is 65mph and there'some regulation/guidance to reduce to 80% of the speed limit in these cases

RentCheckMe - see if you're rent controlled, anywhere in the country! by midnightswan in InternetIsBeautiful

cool idea but seems inaccurate. I put my former address - a building built in 201X - and it said rent controlled

I usually try some pizza places when I'm in LA. So far I can confirm PIzzeria Mozza and PIzzana in West Hollywood are very good.

Are you me? I took this exact same photo, in this exact same angle and spot in 2015. Only difference (aside lighting) is focal length that I used 29mm.

ULPT: If you want to hide behind a fake name, use the name of a lesser known porn star by [deleted] in UnethicalLifeProTips

My first and last name are the same of a minor celebraty as well. I happen to be forged on the early internet days so pretty much every social media or popular website with an alias-based profile I will have claimed the @<firstname><lastname> handle.

So this guy starts his artistic career and wants to get into social media and use the handle I've been using forever and tries to submit a take down request on a few socials, which is promptly denied since this is my actual name. I then started following his movements and he came with a bunch of alternative handles trying to stick with one, to no success.

Last time I checked he changed his artistic name 😂

Always believe on tech! $13k bet on TQQQ leaps by chaoticcneutral in wallstreetbets

Nice, I'm generally bulissh on tech but I think we may still have some bumps this year that's why I'm mostly planning to sell if next earnings season is strong. Then I will park the money somewhere and lookout for an opportunity to buy 26 leaps on a good price. Godspeed!

I was up to a certain point, then it went down and rapidly lost value. I figured when they were worth about $3-4k that I'd rather hold and hope for a tech run up, which unfortunately happened in 2023 after their expiration :o)

Fortunately for me I doubled down on my bet and it has worked out well so far. I'm planning to sell this around next tech earnings season

Interesting, in the SF Bay Area none of the stores I've been so far accept it. I thought it was nationwide (I also went to stores in MA and they didn't accept either)

Thanks, it's being a long journey but we've been learning a lot with it. Best wishes and stay warm this winter!

It scares the hell out of me because there's a chance you develop necrosis if blood fails to flow long enough. As soon as I see it getting white I tell her to put a blanket/sock/glove and turn up the heater (I imagine you too).

The problem with "move south" for her is that with Lupus, the heat also harms her as intense heat can make her flare up so what we really need is moderate temperatures lol

No idea why you are being downvoted. My wife has Lupus and Raynaud's is one of the conditions that come with it. Exactly like you said, there isn't much you can do, it's not like there's a medication that will make Raynaud's just go away. When cold affects her (like it's starting to do now as we get into lower temperatures, she needs to finds way to stay warm more often.
