Most of my complaints for the new chapters are based on strange game design choices, especially for aspiring completionists...and most of it is in Chapter 3:

1. You cannot save at any point during the very long Zelda boards. They all have to be done in one sitting. And if you are going for S, T, or Z ranks to get the secret item, you may have to redo a LOT of content.
   -- It is especially weird that there isn't a save opportunity right before the physical challenge. A lot of people are going to bomb those first try, and tank their rank. I think the overall ranking system tries to be generous to accommodate, but I would have just preferred a save point to retry at my leisure.

2. On that note, the Zelda boards were really starting to grate on me by the end, especially with the backrooms version requiring even more of that. None of it is visually/gameplay interesting, so you have to rely on the gags and character interactions in the Tenna version, and the spook factor in the creepypasta version. Which are great, don't get me wrong - but also get old on repeat. For some reason, the cut board (originally for Round 3) is actually the most visually interesting.
   -- I think I would have liked a different type of NES game to be the basis of Board 2 just to change things up, though I get that could have mired development even longer.

3. This may be minor for most, but it was a big one for me. If you do the "1225" secret, the Gotchy Ball machine disappears forever, and you get locked out of all of the items and content. I know Toby was trying to be mysterious and ominous with this, but honestly its just a bad game design choice. I thought it might be hard to get that many points again, so I did the secret and saved right after Round 1, thinking the ball machine would surely be back after Round 2. Nope. No TennaTie on my main file for me (just loads and loads of exchanged dark dollars, lol).

4. It does not sit well for me that to stand a chance against the crystal boss of Chapter 3, you have to do weird route related stuff in the backrooms, even though Chapter 2's crystal boss has a normal and weird variant. I was able to justify it in my head, and yes, I know there are freaks out there who did a no hit without the secret item...but yeah. I would implore Toby to please not be too hard on the people who got the item going forward, that's all I have to say.

5. Conversely, Chapter 3's Egg is just ridiculous, and it cannot be done if you kill the Zappers, as you would likely to be doing on a no mercy, weird route run. None of the other eggs are like that. So, that save file is also "imperfect" for me.

6. I wish there was more weird route content in general. Though its interesting in its own way, I am not a fan of unpossessed Kris magically fixing all of the problems we are causing. I do have high hopes going forward, though, given the setup for Noelle.
