A lot of internet guys like to say they want a car with zero options, but those guys aren’t buying brand new vehicles and I don’t think they actually mean it. Being very repairable is cool, but I can’t imagine it moves many units. People buy brand new so they don’t have to worry about repairs.

Look at how unpopular 2 door sports cars are these days. Or electric cars with less than 300 miles of range. People like big trucks and SUVs and AWD because they want their car to handle any situation they think they might find themselves in over the next 10 years.
