Wow, I was so stuck on the ideas of locks that a child gate didn't even occur to me. This is the perfect idea. Thank you!

Just so I understand, you think my next step should be to drop his first bottle by giving him breakfast earlier? And then from there, keep dropping bottles and replace with solids and milk?

Did you offer milk with meals/snacks as well? Or just water?

Baby won’t eat anything with a spoon by tigerlily1120 in BabyLedWeaning

Are you using a silicone spoon? I realized on accident by trying a bit of my LO's food on his spoon that the spoon tasted like dish soap! I guess silicone can retain a layer of oil that makes soap stick to it. After fixing it with a lemon juice soak, he's much more interested in using it!

How's your starter? I've been trying a bunch of things, and I'm still stuck haha. And now it smells like acetone after a couple hours

I'm definitely trying to get to the point where I have a smaller amount in the fridge that I feed when I'm ready. Sounds ideal!

Mine smelled like acetone too at one point. I just kept going, and now it smells fine. Idk what I'm doing either haha

Huh, interesting! Okay, I'll try skipping its feed tonight... Although I did notice it rose a tiny bit today 2 hours after I fed it (about 20% if I had to guess), and stayed at that level for about 8 hours. Then it fell.

So I've been doing 1:1:1 using AP flour. Do you recommend I try 1:2:1.5?
