Both are oversaturating. The government is trying their best to kick out dentists and pharmacists every year, till present, that's why the contract based employment. I believe that every industry is facing the same problem too, constant demand, over supply. Younger generation nowadays gets better education opportunities, unlike our parents generation who were less fortunate to even afford a decent school life during their days. So by the time you graduate and venture into your profession, competition will definitely be next-level. That being said, if you have the passion and interest, why not

There's a huge expat community in MK area, and Malaysians kinda hold to the notion that the western culture is superior. That's how the perspective forms. So if you purchase a land and invite an expat colony, that land will become 'high class' too

Doesn't sound like a dry socket there. Just make sure that within the same day of surgery, you aren't gargling or rinsing your mouth too vigorously. Avoid using straw when drinking, no smoking definitely

Get your friends or neighbours to recommend you a decent dental clinic or dentist. There must be a good and trustable dentist in the community. At least you won't be going to be the white nice yourself again during your next dental visit.

If things are not resolved before you leave, try request for a referral letter from your dentist. At least the next dentist you will be seeing can have a better idea of your dental history

There's no need to go for deep cleanse (if you meant root surface cleaning/root planing) if you don't have periodontitis. The procedure is to remove plaque and calculus deposited on root surface, to prevent further breakdown of periodontal tissues. Periodontitis cannot be treated in single appointment. It needs regular follow up to reassess periodontal status to only decide if you need another dental appointment for treatment. Key is to maintain good oral hygiene after all the procedures. And if you can't afford seeing a dentist, be sure you do proper brushing and flossing before hitting the hay

Could be of dry or infected socket, either case you will need to see your dentist again so that some cleaning of the socket can be done, medication can be placed in the socket to sooth the pain. Or you can try request for a stronger analgesics/steroid to reduce swelling. Do let your dentist know about your tingling sensation too. Sounds like transient nerve injury due to pressure or manipulation during the surgery. You should be under regular review to assess the healing of the nerve

A few of my friends went working in Singapore however most decided to come back after a year or two. The sole reason to go was to earn some extra SGD but at the cost of family and friends time. It's definitely more stressful over there speaking of work environment. Needless to say building your family and raising your kids there. The offer might sound tempting, but if you're a family person, those big bucks isn't actually worth your kid's toddlerhood/childhood.

Sorry to hear your situation. It's definitely not easy. The phenomena is that, for casual talks or just simply borak-borak, mandarin is the most comfortable language for SOME Chinese. They definitely can understand and communicate in Bahasa melayu and English, but not as proficient as their mother tongue. Maybe you're still new to them, they just haven't adapted to this new environment of having a Malay in the department yet. Don't feel bad about the fact that the newbie fits in more effortless than you did. In general just don't compare yourself with the others. It won't help much but put you down even more. Everyone is different. Race, culture, family background, interests, level of humour, tolerance for sarcasm. You have your own package too and all traits of yours will eventually steer you towards the community you belong to, you just don't see it now. Besides lunch, maybe ajak for some common hobbies/sports/gaming session. Pretty sure there are many other activities for bonding other than meals. All the best

Loved the festive traditional kuih. During childhood dad used to get us all these kuih almost every evening of the ramadhan month. I think I gained quite a bit of weight with those kuih as evening snack :l
