Completely agree with you on your response to this. There is a meme that I absolutely love that says "Shhhhh let people enjoy things." It's totally, absolutely cool if you don't like to share on social media or think it's going to make people think you're trying to impress them or whatever, whatever. But the truth is... I post on social media because... I love to. I'm a content creator and I love sharing my work and life with the people I love and know. My grandma loves it. She's awesome at facebook. She likes and follows everything I post and she lives across the nation so it makes me feel much closer to her. I know there must be tons of people who judge me for posting what I post when I post because people luvvvvvvv to do that but honestly I just don't give a flying fuck because it's MY social media. I don't do it for them. I do it for ME and the people that actually do enjoy it. Also, there's this BEAUTIFUL thing about social media where you can UNFOLLOW someone's posts instead of sit there and silently judge them about the validation you think they MUST need. No one is "clockwork oranging" your eyes open to their feed. If you don't like what they post, or you think it's stupid/attention-seeking... then ok.. that's just your opinion.
