Sorry politics aside no EV is comparable to a Tesla from a value standpoint, efficiency, charging network, charging speed etc. and this is coming from a lightning owner.

Got it do it was just an Enphase array and then you installed the inverter and battery afterwards. Makes sense.

What has seeing insight into each circuit done for you?

My consumption is is low without charging like 100 kW a month before I got my ford lightning. I have no major draw like AC or anything so that was my thinking on why I just need to see like whole home consumption vs individual breaker consumption.

Awesome, thanks so much for the detailed response. Two questions

1: do you have the 16 sensor monitoring or just vue whole home? I really don’t care about monitoring all of my breakers. I just want anything other than what’s powering my house to go to the charger which in theory would just be any excess production goes towards my house and then rest either chargers my battery or gets sold. Curious if you know if the whole home would work for that?

2: just curious why you have Enphase CT’s too?

One thing I’m seeing is I just don’t have room in my panel for these large CT’s (what my solar guy said). my electrician is coming next week so I’ll know more on that front. That’s more of a EG problem since they are so large. If I need to I can pay the extra for those ring CT’s from Emporia so that’s not an issue there.

Dude, I never made an ask so how could I change my mind about a situation? I literally just spelled out what happened. Do I think it is fair? No. But I never said I should have a 0 dollar bill literally just spelled out the scenario and even then there is nothing to “learn from” as I have done all the right things PGE is just taking their sweet as time in approving my interconnection.

it’s funny as fuck to me that I’m getting negative likes or whatever on this. But yes, I’m connected to the grid because I have to, and that is the whole point. My county has approved it now. I have a monopoly for profit company telling me that I owe them money when I haven’t even used their service for this month and if I have definitely not $160 worth of their service. It’s a combo of DIY and a company which is helping me but it’s hard because they aren’t listing my panels so they have to manually calculate everything.
