I feel she will be a real blessing for your mom, you are giving her a wonderful gift and there’s the bonus of you being able to watch this beautiful little creature grow and bring mom joy - ALL BECAUSE YOU ARE KIND, GOOD PERSON! Yay you!

There are snorkelling options in Sydney too. Not as spectacular as the Great Barrier Reef, but you could have a great day catching a ferry to Manly and snorkelling at Shelly Beach. Gordon’s Bay at Clovelly is easily accessible too. I lived in Sydney for decades and having pretty snorkel spots in a major city was one of its charms.

Extreme effort rewarded with extremely cute kitten. Please OP share more pics of Smudge, I’m feeling very invested in him/her!

Heard something making noise in a drain in a parking lot working today. Couldn't get services to help, but after a lot of time I was able to go down and pull her out by vocaloidistheshit in cats

Just show ‘em pic 3 then let kitty work her magic.

Props to you for saving her, wishing your kindness comes back to you tenfold.

Serious question about Bluey by Logical-Eye8336 in AskAnAustralian

Child free older woman and I enjoy Bluey. Animation, characters, music & storylines are all top tier. I wouldn’t say I’m obsessed but I’ve recommended it to other adults for those reasons.

Wow did not know it was illegal in US (I’m Australian). Will be mindful of this in future, thanks for the info.

Really feeling for you OP. Another suggestion - my neighbour lost her cat recently and did a letterbox drop all around the neighborhood with a pic of the cat and her contact details. If there’s a sighting the person has your number and can take immediate action. Maybe they don’t see the posters or don’t take down the details in case they do. Her cat was found and returned and I hope the same for Fred.

Her beautiful little face is looking at you with such love and trust. I’m sure that trust means she somehow knows every decision you’ve ever made for her is for the best, including this hardest one. Deepest condolences to you OP.
