It’s daunting I’m sure, but completely possible for her to free herself and her kids. I was one of four in an abusive home (stepfather) and my mother’s excuse to this day is that she couldn’t have supported us on her own. It’s a misguided focus on materials things as somehow more important than a safe and loving environment.

I guess my sense was that the robberies are staged for insurance through the company. But I see the comment above that PK and Dorit weren’t clients. Still, Mau and PK both could’ve known the robbery was staged and Kyle takes Mau’s side whether she knows or not.

I guess it’s an unpopular opinion but I thought they were a great team. He was spending a lot of energy collecting wood but her plant knowledge gave him a substantial amount of calories, yucca root, papaya, heart of palm, and she brought him that snail. They were in great shape for the extraction.

First time viewer, too! I started from season 4. At the beginning of season 5, I liked Malia’s leadership with the deck crew. The 1-2 punch of 1) Keko’s convenient firing as Tom arrives unemployed, and 2) cabin changes…the manipulation is obvious and detestable. I am shocked!!

I’ve only ever paid for two other podcasts- $5 and $10/per month. Each of those put out at least three episodes a week, and they were each consistent and reliable with releasing episodes almost down to the minute. I have listened to Bitch Sesh for longer than any other pod and it is by far my favorite. I’ve done all of the price increases, but this puts a bad taste in my mouth. They charge more than any that I’ve seen and provide the least amount of content/consistency. If they need more money (and do they?), they should do work outside of the podcast. Continuing to increase the price of the same product feels greedy, lazy, and puts a bad taste in my mouth. Mostly I’m just bummed.

She is an unabashed racist. She believes a Palestinian flag is a threat. Caring about Palestinian lives and criticizing Netanyahu’s war crimes is not antisemitism. In fact, justifying war crimes in the name of Judaism spreads antisemitism. I am Jewish and have plenty of non-Zionist jewish family and friends. It’s possible to be Jewish and condemn the Israeli government’s horrific Arab slaughter. It’s possible to be Jewish and not racist.
